Diwali- Festival of lights

India has lot of festival to celebrate and one of the biggest festival is Diwali. Joy, Happiness, enjoyment, togetherness and lot more we can see in all human faces.

We all know what is Diwali and how it is celebrated why it is celebrated. But what we don't know is that how different people of the country celebrate Diwali. You would have seen that people celebrate Diwali by cleaning their house decorating the house and welcoming guest with sweets. Laxmi Puja is common all over the world in Diwali. As it is said that goddess Laxmi visit our houses during Diwali.

In West Bengal, Goddess Kali is worshipped during Diwali, earthen lamps and candles are decorated all over the houses as well as temple. This festival is also called as Kali Puja.

In Uttar Pradesh this festival is celebrated with lot of excitement. As Ayodhaya is in Uttar Pradesh and Raja Ram was having his kingdom in Ayodhaya. As the story says that when lord Ram came from victory over Ravan after 14 years, the Ayodhaya people had light up all their earthen pots and welcome Lord Ram.

We all Love to celebrate all the festivals and specially Diwali. We buy new cloths, make sweets, make rangoli and lot more and more things for happiness.

This time we have decided to celebrate Diwali with orphans. As they will defiantly love to celebrate. We are going to buy some sweets some colours for rangoli and lots of crackers. We really hope if we could share some happiness with them.
