KARWA CHAUTH

Karwa chauth is a celebrating by doing fast for husband.

It is for husband long life and prosperity. Wife keep fast for whole without having anything not even water for husband. She eats or can drink water only after seeing the moon.

In the morning the mother in law gives sargi to their daughter in law . Sargi is the sweets, bangles, mehendi, bindi, dress, and many more. Whatever she wanted to gift to her daughter in law. In the early morning all women of the family have sargi, eat some sweets and breakfast and wear bangles and bindi all those things that are provided in the sargi.

After having sargi the ladies will not have anything till moon rise. During day they don't have anything to eat or drink.
The whole day ladies make mehendi on each others palm. Mehendi is a design made from the paste of leaves of mehendi plant. After drying it give red or dark maroon colour on the palm.









 
In the evening all the ladies get together for the puja. They diya, sweet and gift for mother in law or elder person of the family in their puja plate.
After performing puja they wait for moon rise.
During moon rise they worship moon and their husband. Their husband give them food and water.

Diwali- Festival of lights

India has lot of festival to celebrate and one of the biggest festival is Diwali. Joy, Happiness, enjoyment, togetherness and lot more we can see in all human faces.

We all know what is Diwali and how it is celebrated why it is celebrated. But what we don't know is that how different people of the country celebrate Diwali. You would have seen that people celebrate Diwali by cleaning their house decorating the house and welcoming guest with sweets. Laxmi Puja is common all over the world in Diwali. As it is said that goddess Laxmi visit our houses during Diwali.

In West Bengal, Goddess Kali is worshipped during Diwali, earthen lamps and candles are decorated all over the houses as well as temple. This festival is also called as Kali Puja.

In Uttar Pradesh this festival is celebrated with lot of excitement. As Ayodhaya is in Uttar Pradesh and Raja Ram was having his kingdom in Ayodhaya. As the story says that when lord Ram came from victory over Ravan after 14 years, the Ayodhaya people had light up all their earthen pots and welcome Lord Ram.

We all Love to celebrate all the festivals and specially Diwali. We buy new cloths, make sweets, make rangoli and lot more and more things for happiness.

This time we have decided to celebrate Diwali with orphans. As they will defiantly love to celebrate. We are going to buy some sweets some colours for rangoli and lots of crackers. We really hope if we could share some happiness with them.

Don't miss to see Sunrise at Ladakh, the sun rays fall on mountain peak and looks beautiful in the morning.  Ladakh is best for trekkers. Climber enjoy their trekking with nature. One feel themselves close to nature. always.
Magnetic Hill : Yes you heard it right. Magnetic Hill or rather a road is a gravity road situated on Leh- Srinagar- Kargil national highway, about 30 km from Leh. You can park your vehicle in a white box marked their and can see the game of gravity.
It is the place where you will feel heat stoke and frostbite at a same time.
